André Madruga Coelho as joined our projet and he'll be working with us in one of our partner institutions, CIDEHUS-University of Évora. His fellowship started on 13rd January and he'll be helping us with task 2.
He is currently a PhD student in the Inter-university Doctoral Programme in History: change and continuity in a global world (PIUDHist) where he is studying the seigneurial regime as part of the Portuguese political system in the 15th century. He has a master’s degree in History of the Islamic and Medieval Mediterraneum. He is also a member of CIDEHUS-UÉ since 2009, where he has been collaborating in the Évora 3D project, a partnership between the University Évora and the municipality of Évora aiming to build a digital reconstitution of the city and, simultaneously, to analyze the diachronic evolution of the occupation of urban space. He had a fellowship in the DEGRUPE project – The european dimension of a group of power: ecclesiastics and the political state building of the iberian monarchies (13th to 15th centuries) in the CEHR-UCP.
