[Talk] Manta do Alentejo: uma marca com história, by J. Sequeira

Joana Sequeira will participate at a debate on the traditional weaving of Mértola, on 8th May, giving a presentation about the long history of the mantles from Alentejo and their weavers, dating back from the 13th century. The cycle of debates is entitled"(Des)materializando. Tecelagem de Mértola. Ecos do Passado no Futuro" and is organised by the Town Hall of Mértola and the group Textiles, Trade and Taste from CHAM (Centre for Humanities, NOVA University of Lisbon).
